Troika!23

I'm over on the Melsonian Arts Council discord, where I'll be posting this as well, hi guys, and Sean Mccoy's Dungeon23 challenge had come up, and we all talked about it a bit. Some folks talked about maybe doing spheres, and scheduling and layout for that concept. talked about just doing a mega dungeon. I had an over on the OSR server for idea for a horror variety "dungeon", where each layer is a pocket dimension connected by elevators, and some layers would be dungeons, some would be hexcrawls, and some would be things like a haunted house on a hill or a dracula castle. each layer would come with 3 backgrounds, too. I crossposted this to MAC during the convo. I want to combine this to the spheres approach. So, here is my idea for Troika23.

12 months. Each month, you must create a sphere, realm, or dimension, for the first 12 days of each month and sphere (time slot borrowed from a member of MAC discord), spend the time creating 3 backgrounds, at least 4 monsters, at least 2 Items, and at least 1 spell or skill, all with descriptions. Art is not necessary if you are artistically challenged, such as myself. For the remainder of the month, write either a location, dungeon, adventure, or hexcrawl (note these can overlap easily) to serve as a means of interaction with the sphere, realm, or dimension. And most of all, all 12 creations must fit in a theme, one that is broad, bust specific enough to provide some rigor, such as horror, science fiction, or places you would spend a vacation. As well, make sure you can access each place from the last, in a chain of travel. Again, I like elevators. But that means is up to you.

Have fun.
